Decadent Molten Lava Cakes with Surprise Fillings



For chocolate lovers, these rich molten lava cakes are a dream come true. As soon as you cut them open, a tasty surprise filling will come out like molten lava. There are chocolate truffles and caramel candies on these cakes, so they're great for a special dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 4 pieces of your choice of chocolate truffles or caramel candies for fillings
  • Powdered sugar for dusting optional
  • Whipped cream or ice cream optional, for serving

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 425F 220C

Grease and lightly flour four 6-ounce ramekins or muffin tins

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chopped bittersweet chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth

Let it cool slightly

In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined

Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and whisk until smooth

Fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined

Divide half of the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins or muffin tins

Place a chocolate truffle or caramel candy of your choice in the center of each ramekin, then cover with the remaining batter

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft and slightly jiggly

Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool for 1-2 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions:

Rinse the quinoa in cold water, and then put it in a saucepan with water

After the water starts to boil, lower the heat and let the quinoa cook for 15 minutes, or until it is fully cooked

Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat

Add the onion and garlic and cook until the smell is nice

Put broccoli, bell pepper, carrots, and zucchini in the pan

After about 5 to 7 minutes, the vegetables should be soft but still crisp

Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger in a small bowl with a whisk

Pour it over the vegetables in the pan and mix them together

When you add the cooked quinoa to the pan, mix everything together until it's well mixed

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked black beans
  • 2 cups cooked kidney beans
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can 14 oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

Set the Instant Pot to saut mode

To the pan, add garlic, onion, bell peppers, and olive oil

Cook the onions until they become clear

Add tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper

Also add vegetable broth

Mix well

Put in kidney and black beans that have been cooked

Use a stir to mix

Position the valve so that it seals, then close the Instant Pot lid

Place the food in the pot and add high pressure

After that, carefully do a quick release and then let the pressure drop on its own for 10 minutes

Open the lid, stir the chili, and if necessary, add more salt

Add your favorite toppings, like avocado, cilantro, or dairy-free cheese, and serve hot

Ingredients:

  • 2 steaks 1 inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Then, cut them up and serve

Perfectly Crunchy Roast Potatoes with Garlic, Bacon, and Cheddar

Add the chopped bacon and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, or until crispy

Using a slotted spoon, remove the crispy bacon from the skillet and place it aside

The bacon fat should stay in the skillet

To the skillet containing the bacon fat, add the drained potatoes

To taste, add salt and pepper for seasoning

Toss to coat the potatoes with seasonings and bacon fat

To ensure even cooking, stir the potatoes occasionally while roasting them in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown

Add the minced garlic to the potatoes and toss to mix during the final five minutes of roasting

By doing this, you can flavor the potatoes with delicious garlic without burning the garlic

Take the potatoes out of the oven when they are nice and crispy

Evenly distribute the shredded cheddar cheese and cooked bacon on top

Put the skillet back in the oven and continue baking for another three to four minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and melted

If desired, garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot
